Garver Project Manager Adam Stodola has been named a Fellow
of the National Society of Professional Engineers, one of the highest honors
given to a member of the organization that was founded in 1934.
Adam, a member of Garver’s Transportation Team in its Kansas
City, Missouri, office, has served NSPE since 2001 on the local, state, and
national levels. Roughly one percent of NSPE members achieve this honor.
Adam served as president of the Kansas Society of
Professional Engineers in 2015-2016 and recently completed his term as past
president. During his time with NSPE he has displayed “the highest ideals upon
which the NSPE Fellow program was established – a strong record of unselfish
service to his state and national society, a tireless commitment to excellence,
and an enduring devotion to our profession,” according to a letter from NSPE.
“I firmly believe
that it’s important to give back to your profession in some way and I have
enjoyed investing time in both KSPE and NSPE as a way of doing just that,” Adam
said. “NSPE’s mission is to protect and enhance the value of licensure and the
opportunities for the licensed engineer. I am proud to work for a firm that
recognizes that mission by supporting my involvement in this important
organization.”
